You may already know this but this has been on the Pentagon scenario list for at least 5 years or more. Typically the trans-continental elite can simply relocate to a safer location (Boulder, Zurich and so on) when things get bad locally. However when things are bad everywhere, there's no where to hide. Therefore, the only solution is to fix the problem globally. What’s up is that they realize that all the money in the world can’t buy safety from massive population shifts driven by climate change.
