I see what you mean about cheerleader bullshit, but it&#039;s not as if there&#039;s a strict divide between &quot;in crowd&quot; members and non-members, with emotional baggage only going to the latter. The geeks, the unfortunate, the shat upon, can end up pretty strong and sound people. I think lack of adversity is a reliable way to create weakness, but even in the face of difficult circumstances, a lack of will has the same effect.

In the absence of imposed adversity, I think will also drives us toward challenges.</description>
